Ho Ho Ho,
Welcome to the North Pole. Today is Monday February 18 and it is also Presidents Day here at the North Pole.
The elves had a full day at elf-ementry school today and I know that they were very excited to go to school today. Last week their teachers told them that on Monday they were going to be visited by a few of the Presidents of the United States. They actually don’t know that it will be a few of the older elves (and taller) who will be dressing up as the Presidents. As part of their homework that we did last night, each elf had to come up with 3 questions to ask one of the Presidents. I know that they had questions like: “Does the White House have chimney?” or “Do you and the first lady hang a Christmas Stocking up just like everyone else?”. I know that those questions are not real tough but it just goes to show you how our little friends think.
Later in the week, both Mrs. Claus and I will each be spending a day at the school with all of the elves. I know that they have been working on some very very special projects and they are all excited for us to see them.
We had a little bit of a scare today at the reindeer barn as both of our new baby reindeer (Twinkles and Jingles) were missing. I could tell that Rudolph was clearly upset that they were missing and he did not want to scare the other reindeer. Just was we were getting ready to go and search for them, I heard a LOUD noise coming from the Toy Shop. Rudolph and I ran up the hill and sure enough, Twinkles and Jingles had snuck into the Toy Shop and locked themselves inside. They were really scared when they cam running out the front door. I am going to have Elf Eddie take a look at the locks on the back door to make sure it does not happen again.
Mrs. Claus and I are going to go and read the North Pole News to see what boys and girls have done some wonderful things.
Until tomorrow…..please make sure that you tell someone that they are loved.
