Ho Ho Ho,Welcome to the North Pole. Today is Sunday December 28 and things are slowly getting back to normal here at the North Pole. I must admit that the long night of toy delivery does take a few days to recover.I will be spending some time with the reindeer this morning. They had a good solid 48 hours of sleep and they are ready to get back to the daily activity. Mrs. Claus has made them their favorite breakfast (oats, sugar cubes and apples). I will most likely give them a good grooming later in the day.

The elves and I continue to spend a few hours each day cleaning the Toy Shop. The good news is that we did not find any presents that were “left behind”. That is always one of my biggest fears is that we find a present that somehow got lost in the scurry of getting ready to leave.

Later today we will start to hang all of the wonderful pictures that the boys and girls had left out for us on a special wall inside the Toy Shop. I know that the elves LOVE to see all of the wonderful artwork from around the world.

Please enjoy your Sunday and remember to be as good as you can be.

Welcome to the North Pole. I must admit that we are still recovering from a very hectic (but fun) Christmas Eve trip around the world. I would have to say that this trip was as close to perfect as you can get. Rudolph and the other reindeer did a fantastic job guiding me through some pretty rough weather.

We arrived back at the North Pole about 8:30 am on Christmas day. It was sooooo wonderful to see Mrs. Claus and all 932 elves waiting for us as we approached the North Pole. No matter how hard we work that night, nothing beats the smiling faces and warm hugs that we get once we land the sleigh in front of the Toy Shop.

As of this morning (December 26) the reindeer are still sleeping. The elves have just woke up in the Elf Bunkhouse. We will all be meeting at the Toy Shop for some basic cleaning and then we are going to enjoy the rest of the day with some North Pole fun. We will end the day with a North Pole bonfire with lots of s’mores and singing.

I wanted to extend my thanks for all of the wonderful cookies and milk as well as the letters and pictures that the boys and girls left out for me. I will be putting all of the pictures on a GIANT wall inside the Toy Shop.

Please remember to be as good as you can be.

Ho Ho Ho,

Welcome to the North Pole. Today is Friday March 21, 2008 and we are not only two days away from Easter, we are also able to celebrate the first day of Spring.

We are all very excited up here at the North Pole for many many reasons. Later today we will be having a visit from my good friend the Easter Bunny. This will be a BIG surprise for the elves as they do not know about the visit.

We all welcomed the first day of Spring this morning with a huge breakfast here at the house. Mrs. Claus always gets up early on the Friday before Easter because today is her BIG shopping day with the elves. I know that the elves are excited because they get to go and buy the eggs that they will be coloring later today.

Mrs. Claus and the elves have to go and buy 5,592 eggs today so that each of our 932 elves will have six eggs to color. I always have to remind Mrs. Claus to buy a few extra because it seems that about half of the eggs will eventually roll off the table and land on the floor.

I will let you know tomorrow how the Easter Egg coloring went but I can assure you that it is had to tell who gets more color on them, the eggs or the elves. I do know that the elves LOVE to dip the eggs into the colors with their fingers and then smear the extra coloring all over their pants and shirts (and even their faces). It does get very messy but the elves have such a good time that it all seems to be worth it.

As I said earlier, the elves will be getting s surprise visit from my good friend the Easter Bunny later today. The Easter Bunny called me a few days ago and asked if I would mind sharing my naughty and Nice list with him. I assured the Easter Bunny that ALL of the boys and girls have been very very good so far this year. Well the Easter Bunny still wanted to stop by to not only take a quick look at the Naughty and Nice List but to also pay a surprise visit to the elves.

Tomorrow is the HUGE North Pole Easter Egg Hunt so please make sure to stop by and I will share all of the fun and excitement with you.

I am going to go and unlock the safe where I keep the Naughty and Nice List and get it ready for the Easter Bunny.

Wish Mrs. Claus and I luck today when we get to help the elves color their eggs. I think it is going to be real

Please remember to joing us at the North Pole. You can be a part of all of the North Pole activities by joining us at http://www.welcometothenorthpole.com It is free and I promise your family will enjoy thier visit.

Please make sure to be as good as you can be and always make sure you tell someone just how much you love them.

Welcome to the North Pole. Today is Wednesday March 5, 2008 and the elves have a day off from elf-ementry school.

The elf baking day in Mrs. Claus Kitchen was a huge success. I wish you could have seen all of the co-motion that was taking place in the kitchen.

All 932 elves took a turn making a dozen of their most favorite cookie recipe. We had the traditional chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies and traditional Christmas cookies. We also had some of the strangest cookies that you have ever head of. Those elves made some of the following cookies: chocolate gummi bear, peanut butter and ketchup and perhaps the strangest was sugar licorice with honey and raisins. I honestly think that most of the ingredients either went into the mouths of the elves or all over the floor. The kitchen looked like something exploded inside.

My job was to be the official “Cookie Taste Tester”. We did not make it into a contest so there was no winner, but each of the elves insisted that I taste at least one cookie from each batch. They were all very very good (even the sugar licorice with honey and raisins). The elves were so cute because each one would ask me (in the sweetest elf voice) “Santa, did you really really really like my cookies?”

I think it took Mrs. Claus until Tuesday to clean the entire kitchen and get it back to normal.

Today the elves had a one day break from school and they are all outside playing. I just came from the giant skating pond down by the Reindeer Barn and there was about 150 elves who were ice skating. There were some elves who were on the sledding hill. I even saw out two new baby reindeer (Twinkles and Jingles) playing with a big soccer ball out in the field. It looks like they really enjoyed their day away from school.

I am going to go and read the latest edition of the Naughty and Nice List. The elves just brought me the February list so I think I will spend some time seeing who is on the Naughty List and who is on the Nice List.

Welcome to the North Pole. Today is March 1, 2008. It seems to me that February was a really looooooooong month, it was almost like there was an extra day somewhere near the end.

We are nearing the end of our North Pole Winter Carnival week and today is one of the most favorite day for the elves. Today, the elves get to attend Mrs. Claus’s Bakery Day. The classes take place right in her kitchen.

The North Pole Winter Carnival was the best carnival that we have had many years. The snowman contest was really wonderful and the special “reindeer” day was really fun for all involved. I know that Rudolph and all of his other reindeer (including our two new baby reindeer Twinkles and Jingles) had a lot of fun playing Reindeer Tag and Reindeer Hide and Seek. The Hide and Seek game became scary when we could not find our two baby reindeer, Twinkles and Jingles. I will bet it took us an hour t find them as they were hiding in the barn that keeps my sleigh. They were so cute because they were trying to get hitched to my sleigh to see if they can make it fly. I think they just lost track of time and wandered away to have some fun.

Yesterday, Mrs. Claus and I went shopping to get all of the supplies for today’s Mrs. Claus Bakery lessons. All I know is that it will get really busy in our house as soon as all of the 932 elves arrive. I remember that last year they all ended up in a “flour” throwing contests. I wish you could have seen 932 elves all covered in white flour. They looked like tiny snowmen as they were running through the house.

Please check in tomorrow and I will let you know how much fun the elves had during their baking lessons.
